1 General rules

1.1 Wildcard's rules apply. Exploiting bugs, using exploits and maintaining multiple accounts are prohibited. Follow the admin team's instructions. Failure to do so may result in further action (see penalties).

1.2 Treat other players respectfully. Insults, racism, misuse of personal information and sexism are not tolerated on any BrokenArk platform.

1.3 For questions, support or reports of rule violations, contact the admin team through a Discord ticket in #admin-hilfe.

1.4 Advertising is prohibited on Discord and on the game servers.

1.5 The cluster languages are German and English.

1.6 Avatars, names and nicknames that are sexist, racist or exclusionary are prohibited.

1.7 Excluding or discriminating against players for any reason, including gender, age, social status, origin or religion, is prohibited.

1.8 Do not spam messages, excessive capital letters, images, emoji or bot commands on Discord or in the cluster.

1.9 The team may change the mod list as needed.

1.10 Lost creatures, structures, items and other possessions are not reimbursed. This also applies to losses caused by bugs or other technical problems.

1.11 Discord membership is mandatory. Information, questions and reports of rule violations are handled exclusively through Discord.

1.12 Include your tribe name after your name on Discord.

2 In-game rules

2.1 Deliberately exploiting bugs and undermeshing are prohibited.

2.2 Do not deliberately lure or drop wild creatures into another tribe's base.

2.3 All theft is prohibited, including other players' eggs, Gacha crystals, items and creatures. Looting bases with expired decay timers also counts as theft.

2.4 Report structures and creatures with low decay timers in Discord #inaktives-melden.

2.5 Do not drop Wyvern, Rock Drake, Magmasaur or Deinonychus eggs. If you do not need them, dispose of them by another method or eat them.

2.6 Completely empty or destroy beaver dams and loot crates.

2.7 Do not give away building components that the recipient cannot yet craft. Trading Tek building components is prohibited. Element and Element Dust may be traded.

2.8 You may open your Tek Replicator to others so they can craft their own components.

2.9 The team may clear bases that are used only for rendering over an extended period.

2.10 Do not leave creatures outside your base.

2.11 Oil pumps, sap collectors and gas collectors must remain freely accessible.

2.12 Every player must create or join a tribe. Bases and creatures without a tribe are removed without notice.

2.13 Do not leave creatures roaming outside your base to farm or for similar purposes. Creatures found doing so are removed without notice.

2.14 Oasisaurs may only revive creatures belonging to your own tribe.

2.15 Each tribe may have no more than six actively producing Gachas across the cluster, with two Snow Owls per producing Gacha. Clearly label any Gacha breeding operation as such.

2.16 The cluster-wide limit is 350 crop plots per tribe.

3 Building rules

3.1 Number of bases

On each map, a tribe may build either one main base or one outpost and one water base.

Exception 1: A main base may be combined with an attached water base. In this case the building radius may be extended to a maximum of 400 m.

Exception 2: If a Tribe Tower cannot be operated within the building radius, it may be placed outside it at a suitable location.

Exception 3: One additional Element base is permitted on Aberration or Svartalfheim.

Exception 4: Due to water scarcity, Scorched Earth permits either a main base or an outpost.

A main base must be used regularly and actively. It is the tribe's principal home and should be recognisable as such. It should not remain unfinished or makeshift for an extended period. The admin team may inspect bases that appear unused, contact the tribe and remove structures if the tribe does not respond.

3.3 Outposts and rafts

Outposts that resemble taming traps are removed without notice. Rafts left outside a base are removed without notice.

3.4 Temporary structures

You may temporarily place teleporters outside your base but must remove them immediately after use. The same applies to taming traps.

3.5 Minimum distances

Main bases must be at least 300 m apart, or 200 m on Aberration. Both tribes may agree to a smaller distance provided it causes no noticeable performance problems, such as severe loading stutter. In a dispute, the first tribe to build takes precedence.

3.6 Special rule for Atlantis

Bases on Atlantis may have a maximum diameter of 100 m. Both tribes may agree to a smaller distance between bases if this causes no noticeable performance problems.

3.7 General conduct

Do not place structures solely to block building locations. Play fairly, considerately and with common sense. The admin team may remove violations without warning or comment.

4 Building restrictions

4.1 Building is prohibited inside artifact caves and within at least 200 m of their entrances, including Rockwell's innards. Sleeping bags and temporary storage are exceptions if removed immediately after use. The team may approve exceptions in special cases.

4.2 Keep important routes, ramps and narrow passages open. Unless naturally narrower, a route must be at least as wide as a Behemoth Gate. Gates on these routes must be set to public access.

4.3 Explorer Notes must remain easily accessible to other players.

4.4 Do not build at major resource concentrations, including metal/crystal caves in Ragnarok's desert, beaver spawns and penguin spawns. Admins decide if there is any doubt.

4.5 Do not obstruct important objects, including city terminals, Titan arenas, Plant Species Z, spawn areas, Helena teleportation points, glitches and mission terminals.

4.6 Do not build in areas where OSDs or Element Nodes spawn. Dino leashes are the only permitted means.

4.7 Building is prohibited in Lost Colony's city and on bridges leading into it.

5 Creature trading

5.1 The seller must register every creature trade in Discord #Handelsregister.

5.2 Trades, gifts, swaps and mating with creatures from another tribe all count as creature trading.

5.3 Lending creatures, for example for a boss fight, is prohibited.

5.4 Fertilised eggs count as creatures.

5.5 Reapers, Gigadesmodus, Gachas, Phoenixes, Rhyniognatha and Aureliax cannot be traded.

5.7 Creatures may be traded up to level 300 and must be free of Mutator effects and mutations.

5.7.1 Lending creatures for mating is tolerated, but no stage of the mating process may require the Mutator.

5.8 Shop creatures and their offspring cannot be traded. This also applies to all other items acquired from the shop.

5.9 Do not help with or transfer items needed to tame Rhyniognatha or Aureliax, including pheromones and saddles.

6 Penalties

6.1 Penalties are determined individually according to the severity of the violation.

6.2 Repeated warnings or particularly serious violations may result in a temporary or permanent cluster ban for individual players or entire tribes.
